James Trower
James Trower is a nationally recognized youth motivational speaker, National Championship Junior College Coach, and dedicated High School Cybersecurity Instructor. With over 20 years in the classroom, James has used education as his platform to empower and inspire the next generation. For 20 years, James has taught with passion and purpose—earning the Most Inspirational Teacher Award ten years in a row.
James’s story began in Brooklyn New York where he spent his early childhood years in the New York City foster care system. James faced a childhood marked by abandonment, abuse, and instability. But through the darkness, a public-school teacher became his beacon of hope, teaching him how to channel his pain, anger, and distrust into drive, purpose, and resilience.
James turned his mess into a message—one of hope, healing, and possibility. Today, he speaks to students, educators, and organizations across the country, challenging everyone to dare to dream big and to dare to be great.

In his program, I am destined for greatness James delivers a compelling message of healing and hope with vulnerability, honesty, and humor.
